Research interests

From genomes to biological insight
01

Gene regulation in wheat and other crops

My research focuses on how transcriptional and translational regulation shape plant development and responses to environmental stress. By integrating complementary omics datasets, I investigate the regulatory mechanisms linking gene expression to biological function.

02

Evolutionary and comparative genomics

I investigate how genomic variation and the evolution of genes and regulatory networks contribute to trait diversity and environmental adaptation in wheat and related species. Comparative and evolutionary analyses provide a framework for understanding these relationships.

03

Computational tools and genomic resources

I develop tools and databases for multi-omics integration, comparative genomics, and candidate gene discovery. These resources connect genomic, regulatory, and evolutionary information to support functional studies and crop improvement.
